The history of Château La Commanderie and that of Clos des Jacobins have been linked since the mid-1980s when the former owner of Clos des Jacobins acquired Château la Commanderie. Magali & Thibaut Decoster have been running the 2 crus since 2005. Immediately, we carried out soil and plot studies, significant investments in production tools, uprooting and replanting phases, enhancing, restoration and renovation work… This very quickly confirmed the exceptional qualities of the wine. The work carried out resulted in Château la Commanderie being classified as a Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Émilion in 2012.
