Dark, intense and bright color. The nose is powerful and fresh, with black fruits aromas, chalk, blackberry and spices notes. When tasting it, the wine is really generous and full-bodied, offering a very elegant and persistent structure. Clos des Jacobins is a model of complexity and balance, it enjoys great regularity and has an aging potential of at least 15 years.

After being raised among the greatest wines of Saint-Émilion between 1940 and 1950, Clos des Jacobins has been classified since the origins of the classification in 1954. It won Saint-Emilion Grands Crus Classés challenge in Hong Kong in 2006 after 2 semi-finals, and reached the final again in 2008.
